Q: How do I know you'll take great care of my pet friends?
A: Because we think animals deserve sympathetic and caring interaction with humans. We are Pet First Aid certified by the American Red Cross, members of Professional United Pet Sitters and Pet Sitters Associates. We have volunteered with the Humane Society and with various rescue agencies and we have an extensive knowledge of animal behavior. Plus, we just love animals.
Q: Are you bonded and insured?
A: Definitely. We even have a special loss insurance rider that is better than bonding and includes coverage for your pets as well as your personal property.
Q: What is your service area?
A: We may be able to help clients within 30 minutes of our business address, but we can only do that on a space-available basis. Give us a call and we can let you know if that is a possibility.
Q: Do you take last-minute bookings?
A: On a space-available basis, yes. We do, however, add a $10 fee to any booking made less than 24 hours before service.
Q: What is included in a pet visit?
A: We will water plants, bring in newspapers, get the mail, turn on/off the lights, bring the trash cans in from the street and other house services if you are away. Just ask!
Q: What will happen during our first consultation?
A: Most importantly, we'll meet your pet friends and talk with you about your needs. If you decide to secure our services, we will have you complete some paperwork (animal info sheets, vet authorization forms and a service agreement) and give us two sets of keys.
Q: Do you provide any other services than what is listed?
A: Yes, just ask.
Q: Are your policies available online? You know, the ones I signed at the consultation?
A: Yes, just go here.
Q: Why should I hire a pet sitter for my pets? Why not just put them in a kennel while I'm gone?
A: Dogs and other animals are more comfortable in their own home. There are also inherent health risks that come with boarding a pet with other animals. We have found that our dogs are less anxious and healthier when they remain in their own home or stay with a knowledgeable sitter so that they have human companionship and a relaxed atmosphere with lots of outdoor exercise.
Q: Do you offer discounts?
A: Sure! We have discounts available for our dog walking clients that pre-purchase a 10-walk or 20-walk card from us. Go here for current pricing of pre-paid dog walk cards.
Q: What should we do after we return home?
A: If we are pet sitting your pets, we want to hear from you when you get home. This ensures that your pets are supervised and not unintentionally left alone. If you would like your keys back (some clients prefer to have them on file with us for future service), we will either mail them to you or personally deliver them to your home within three days.
Q: Do you have references?
A: Lots of them! Just ask.
Q: How do I pay you?
A: We accept cash, check or credit cards. We kindly request payment before or at the time of service.
Q: How do I book services?
A: Email is preferred at info@clearcreekpetcare.com. You may also call us at 720.280.8982.
